COMPAREX Canada General Manager, Jason Mackay, received the award for Fastest Rising Star from Computer Dealer News (CDN) at their gala event on April 25th.

When the results were announced, COMPAREX had jumped 35 spots on the list, now sitting at position number 41, up from 76 last year. This is an extraordinary achievement for a company that has only been on the Canadian scene since August 2015 and has less than 25 employees.

COMPAREX Canada accredits their success to their focus on customer value, a disciplined sales and marketing approach, and a commitment to helping clients  understand how to implement new technologies to drive digital transformation.

With the solutions and services that they are bringing to market in Canada, COMPAREX has been able to address needs that clients have around digital transformation and innovation. Their ability to scale and work with their Global Services and Centers of Excellence and offer managed services has meant that they can support organizations in transforming their operations.

Three Factors for Success

Mackay says there are three main factors that have generated COMPAREX success to date.

  • A pool of top-flight, talented people who drive customer value and transformation. “We’ve had some great people join COMPAREX,” states Jason Mackay. “From licensing to cloud managed services, having those people in place for a second full fiscal year was a substantial component.”
  • A great relationship with Microsoft whose product shelf for Azure and Office 365 combined with its support teams is unequalled. “We’ve been able to join in on some pretty incredible projects,” Mackay says. “We have an amazing relationship with Microsoft.
  • COMPAREX Global’ s scaling resources which allows COMPAREX Canada to take advantage of company talent around the world and deliver optimal solutions for their customers here.

But it’s COMPAREX Canada’s approach to relationships around which everything pivots.

“It’s not just about the technology for us”, said Mackay. “It’s that we focus on the ‘people aspect’ of this business. That’s our unique differentiator.” COMPAREX focuses on the full transformation an organization undergoes when moving to cloud, through their managed services offering, clients experience a white glove service spanning from the planning and architecture, training and adoption management, to full support services.

COMPAREX Canada would like to recognize and congratulate all the fellow CDN Top 100 Solution Providers. The industry is growing, and digital transformation is at the forefront of the successes within the Top 100 Solution Providers.
